The world has changed very much. It has united into a single republic under the leadership of the United Nations. It has successfully eradicated all the terrorism and violence of the world. There is no military force in the world except the peacekeeping force maintained by the U.N and local police forces for tracking criminals. Almost a century ago, the world was divided into many countries who found with each other for military power. The world is not a peaceful and co-operative organisation based on non-violence and mutual understanding. There have been many inventions and discoveries in the last century. Over population has been controlled and there is no such thing as poverty. Diseases are not a problem nowadays. Scientists have now developed antiviral drugs for combating diseases like AIDS and Ebola which were one of the main killers of humans over a hundred years ago. Viruses attach to their host cells, insert their DNA into it and thus cause infections. The drugs that combat viruses work in such a way that they don't allow the viruses to attack to the host cells. Efforts are made to produce more anti-viral drugs which have less or no side effects. The main problem over a hundred years ago was the problem of pollution. The world was at the verge of drowning due to global warming and suffocation due to increased amount of poisonous gases in the air. Fortunately due to the knowledge and intelligence of the scientists all over the world, the problem of pollution has been solved. All the vehicles and powerplants of today rely on the sun's energy. These solar cells power numerous industries, homes and vehicles. Vehicles starting from the electric toy car to the large trucks and trailers used to carry heavy equipment are powered by solar energy. The main power plants are in the hot deserts like the Thar in India, the Sahara in North Africa, the Kalahari in South-West Africa and in the deserts of the Middle East. Fossils fuels and oils were used extensively as fuels hundreds of years ago, but now they are only used as lubricating oils. Deforestation was another problem of the past. But now, it has been solved due to many ideas of the hardworking scientists. The people of tropical continents such as Africa and South America have been moved to the more industrialised and developed continents such as Asia, Europe, Australia and North America. Trees that produce extensive amount of oxygen and water-vapour are placed in these equatorial regions.

So now, I can only say that the world has become absolutely perfect. Human civilisation is at its zenith. Technology is still developing for the benefit of the world. The world has become heaven for the fortunate people that inhabit this planet.

But, in a flying saucer far above an unsuspecting world Indra, King of the Gods glared down enviously at the peaceful prosperity below him. Was it time to send another Vamana avatar?
